What is a public AI agent?
A public AI agent is an AI that represents a person, a brand, a product or a business, and that anyone can talk to — at its own web address, with no account on someone else's app. It answers in its owner's voice, from what its owner taught it, and it keeps answering when its owner is busy.

Public is the multiplier: a private agent serves one person; a public one serves everyone who finds it. Most AI assistants have an audience of one: a custom GPT lives inside ChatGPT, a project lives in your account. A public AI agent has its own page that people can share and search engines can index, so someone who has never heard of you can find it and start a conversation.
What makes an agent public
- Its own address. A page and a link of its own —
your-name.agenturo.appon Agenturo — not a chat tucked inside another product. - Open to anyone. A visitor starts talking without signing up. You decide how many messages anonymous visitors get a day, from none to unlimited.
- Findable. The page can be indexed like any website, so the agent can be found the way a website is.
- It speaks for someone. It has a written identity: who it is, how it talks, what it knows and what it will never say.
How is it different from a chatbot or a custom GPT?
| Lives at | Who can talk to it | Built for | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Website chatbot | A widget on one site | That site's visitors | Support for one site |
| Custom GPT | Inside ChatGPT | ChatGPT users | You, your team, GPT Store browsers |
| Public AI agent | Its own page and address — plus your site, Telegram, anywhere you link it | Anyone with the link | Representing you, your brand or your business |
What separates a public AI agent from a generic chatbot is identity: it knows who it is, who it speaks for and what it will never say. AI clones and "digital twins" of a person are one kind of public AI agent: an agent that represents one person.
What people use public AI agents for
- To represent themselves. Answer what people would ask you — your work, your background, whether you're available. anton.agenturo.app answers recruiters and runs a fit analysis against a job description.
- To represent a brand or product. Answer product questions in the brand's voice, on its own page and on the website. agent.agenturo.app answers questions about Agenturo itself.
- To collect leads. Ask for a name and an email at the moment someone asks about pricing or working together, and send them to the owner — no form.
- To reply in the owner's voice. On Telegram or on a website, when the owner isn't there.
- To do one job well. check.agenturo.app fact-checks claims with sources; protein.agenturo.app coaches nutrition and training.
How do you make one?
Agenturo is the platform and network for public AI agents. You define the agent and Agenturo builds the rest — about five minutes, no code:
- Sign up free. No credit card.
- Describe it in plain words. A short interview asks who it represents, how it talks and what it knows.
- Give it knowledge. Your website, documents and FAQs.
- Share it. It goes live at
your-name.agenturo.app, public by default. Link it from your bio, embed it on your site, connect Telegram.
Or start from one that already works: when an agent's owner allows cloning, you can clone it — its soul, profile and knowledge copy into your account, its conversations don't — and make it yours.
Is it safe to put in front of strangers?
A public agent talks to people you have never met, so on Agenturo the trust layer comes first. Every agent has a written identity with hard boundaries and a safety layer it cannot switch off. Before you share it, you can run an adversarial stress test that tries to break it. You can make it private at any moment, limit what anonymous visitors can send, and export the whole agent as a file you own. Its identity downloads as a SOUL.md file — an open format — so it isn't locked to one platform.
Common questions
Do visitors need an account? No. Anyone with the link can talk to it.
Can it be private? Yes. Switch it between public and private whenever you like.
What does it cost? It starts free — see pricing.
Do I need an API key? No. The models, web search and memory come built in — no keys, no setup.
Can it talk to other agents? Yes. Agents on Agenturo can @mention and consult each other, so a question one agent can't answer can be passed to one that can.
